About this role
Woolpert is an award-winning, global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services. They are seeking a Site Civil Engineer to support civil site projects, including grading, erosion control, and stormwater management, while working collaboratively with a technical team.
Responsibilities:
- The Site Civil Engineer will be a staff engineer working with the technical team and under the supervision of a professional engineer to deliver well-executed projects to our clients
- You will assist with plan production, perform and review design calculations, drive quality assurance, and support the internal and external project team on a variety of site/civil land development engineering projects
- Project elements typically include grading and earthwork, site access, erosion control, stormwater management, and other documentation to support the client’s permitting and construction efforts
- Work will vary from project to project, so our engineers are exposed to a number of different practices which allow them to not only become well rounded, but also to find a specialty they have interest in
- This Team is expanding with additional expansion expected over the next few years. This allows for lots of potential for upward mobility once experience has been gained
Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field
- 0-5 years of experience
- EIT/FE Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability and willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment, across multiple teams and disciplines
- Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D (strongly preferred) or MicroStation
- Exposure to Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Bluebeam, HydroCAD, Microsoft Suite, and other relevant software products a plus
