We’re looking for a full-time Electrical Engineering Summer Intern to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Greenville, SC. Student intern position to assist Electrical Engineering Department by marking up electrical drawings and providing assistance with engineering calculations and any other supporting tasks to support engineers and designers.

 

As the Electrical Engineering Summer Intern, here’s the work you’ll do: 

• Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Reviewing and marking up drawings.
• Assist in cost estimate preparation.
• Assist in assembly of project submittals.

And if you have these qualifications:  

• Currently enrolled in accredited Electrical Engineering (EE) program.
• Has completed 2 years of study in EE Program.
• Eligibility Requirement: Due to the nature of the work and applicable federal contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance.
• Great attitude and team player. 
• Successful completion of background and drug screening process.

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $35/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
