BCM Temporary - Administrative Support

Summary

Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics - Palliative Care is seeking temporary administrative support.

 

The maximum assignment length is 3 months. This is a temporary position and is not eligible for benefits.

Job Duties

• Coordinate and manage outpatient scheduling, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
• Assist with coordinating candidate interviews, including scheduling and logistics.
• Answer the department's main phone line; screen, route, and respond to telephone inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Support fellowship coordination duties, including lecture scheduling and related administrative tasks.
• Arrange domestic and international travel using Concur; submit and track reimbursements for travel and other faculty-related expenses.
• Coordinate lecture and departmental events, including space reservations, audiovisual setup, catering arrangements, and preparation of materials.
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to scheduling, travel, and events.
• Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Basic office skills.
• Experience with Concur.
• Experience scheduling meetings and setting faculty reminders.
