General Position Summary and Purpose:
The Technology Analyst serves as the Bank’s primary business analyst for technology initiatives, evaluating and optimizing existing and new applications to ensure maximum effectiveness and continuous improvement. This role aligns business needs with technology, supports and implements technology-related projects, and partners with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues. The Analyst also delivers staff training, maintains documentation, and ensures systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime while staying current on emerging technology trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate and analyze the use of major technology/applications and/or new technology/applications at the Bank and optimize the effectiveness of each application to the their fullest.
Project management: Implement (or assist with implementation) of technology related projects and maintain systems are working in a good working order with minimal downtime
Provide analytical solutions with each applications and deliver increased effectiveness
Aligns business/strategic needs of the Bank with technology deliverables
Provides support escalation for third-party software, working cases with external providers to resolve complex issues
Documentation of all technology related procedures and processes
Provide training to internal staff from technology point of view for application optimization
Stays abreast of the latest developments in Technology

Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Two-to-four-year degree preferred with a major in computer science or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience/Required Knowledge:
A strong working knowledge of banking technology environment
An advanced understanding of banking core systems and other major applications and administration
A strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other
Strong knowledge of systems administration, database management, network, and cybersecurity
Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills, using data and sound judgment to identify trends, solve complex problems, and drive continuous process improvement.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Moderate physical effort required; normally seated with the freedom of movement on a regular basis; some lifting of light materials and supplies. Minimal exposure to injury or other hazards with moderate level of noise.
