- Starting pay of $25.30/hr. up to top pay of $35.71/hr.*

General Purpose of the Position:
Perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and physical structures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing by maintaining facility and equipment
- Provide general trouble shooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic components and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance activities in support of a Total Productive Maintenance program
- Provide day-to-day coverage of production line equipment; respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
- Communicate status updates on downtime, repairs, and ongoing projects to Operators, Leads, and incoming shifts to ensure smooth workflow continuity
- Perform equipment installation, repairs, rebuilds and replacement
- Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained and repaired properly and safely
- Assist as required in PM and FM duties
- Perform facility maintenance that may require basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing
- Maintain record retention using a Micro Main
- Ensure that all work areas are clean and orderly per 5S standards
- Treat or transfer industrial Wastewater as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and suggesting process enhancements
- Use daily discomfort logs and report any sickness, injury, or safety concern immediately—regardless of severity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through consistent housekeeping practices
- Demonstrate flexibility by moving to various work areas based on facility needs.
- Be available to work overtime, including weekends, July and Christmas shutdowns as required by the production schedule
- Participate in team huddles, group projects, and one‑on‑one communications to support team alignment
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Flash Arc, Chemical Safety and SDS Understanding
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma/GED
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance of equipment or facilities
- Testing to determine minimum qualifications may be required
- Preferred Education and Experience: Post Secondary Degree
- Other Qualifications:
- Proven knowledge of mechanical systems, facilities repair and maintenance, and basic pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of equipment failures
- Capable of safely operating facility machinery including forklifts, JLG lifts, and scissor lifts. Able to work in high or confined spaces and maintain strong focus on safety. Fall‑protection certified or willing to obtain certification
- Computer literate, including MicroMain and Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively. Demonstrates excellent attendance, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with industrial wastewater treatment, DDRW machinery, welding, or plumbing
- Ability to run reports focused on preventative maintenance goals
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work independently
- Ability to utilize hand tools to perform assembly functions (ex. Screw drivers, measuring devices, adjustable end wrench, various crimping devices
Physical Requirements
- Work inside/outside on the roof, hot and cold conditions
- Use different lifts to perform job duties at elevated heights, including working up to 20 feet above ground level
- Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds with proper assistance.
- Use hands continuously throughout the shift, including gripping, manipulating, and positioning tools or materials
- Stand/walk for prolonged periods (majority of the shift)
- Perform frequent bending, twisting, and torso rotation throughout the shift, including reaching to lower levels, turning at the waist, and maintaining bent‑over positions as required by task demands
- Perform frequent hand and arm movements, including:
- Full‑fist gripping of tools
- Pressing or pushing with thumbs and fingers
- Twisting the lower arm
- Turning or bending the wrist up, down, left, or right
