We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Orthodontic Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced specialty practice and thrives as part of a collaborative, patient-centered team. If you love helping patients feel comfortable while delivering outstanding orthodontic care, we would love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures including separators, wire changes, and appliance adjustments
- Prepare teeth for bonding braces and Invisalign attachments
- Take orthodontic X-rays, digital scans, and impressions
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Anticipate doctor needs and ensure efficient patient flow
- Accurately chart treatment details and patient progress
- Maintain clinical inventory and stock operatories
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
- Clean and organize treatment areas between patients
Requirements

- Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three to five (3-5) years’ experience as a Dental or Orthodontic Technician or relevant experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.
- Must have high finger dexterity to perform duties involving work on the computer.
