Easterseals Blake Foundation started as the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Southern Arizona. Since then, we have expanded our services to better serve our community members. We are now one of Arizona's top providers of comprehensive behavioral health services, child welfare, and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. General Position Description: Provides coaching services to early childhood programs enrolled in Quality First in a collaborative, reflective, and efficient manner for the purpose of improving quality of care and education in assigned programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ECE) or a bachelor’s degree that includes at least 24 college credits in ECE or a related field with 5 years of experience working in a licensed and/or regulated early childhood setting with children birth through 8 years of age required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Must be self-directed and be sensitive to cultural and linguistic diversity. Excellent customer service in stressful situations. Maintains a professional appearance, communications, and actions. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Independent judgment and discretion in setting daily priorities to complete tasks. Knowledge of adult learning principles and practices of multi-method instruction. Ability to accurately read, record, and interpret information, including assessments. Ability to present skills and techniques in accordance with adult learning standards. Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships in the community, including other technical assistance providers. Ability to develop and maintain a dual focus on relationships with participants and program activities by fostering a strengths-based approach. Knowledge of community resources and referrals in the community. Possess a high level of computer proficiency.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements (with or without accommodation): Field position visiting different childcare sites or home-care providers. Will work in outside and inside environments, as needed. Daily travel to member homes and other locations. Interacts with employees and members of the public daily. Visual acuity to read information from computer screens and form and assess participants' wellbeing. Able to communicate verbally with program participants as needed for daily operations. Hearing ability for communication in persona, phone, and/or other electronic methods. Manual dexterity for typing and writing. Able to stoop, squat, reach, pull, push, stretch, ascend and descend stairs, stand and sit for long periods of time. May be required to work additional hours or days depending on circumstances.
