With our Habilitation Apprentice Program, you can go from no experience to working one-on-one with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to help them live better lives at home and in their communities! NO HEALTH CARE EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM! PAID TRAINING PROVIDED! As an apprentice, you’ll get paid a competitive wage while you train and gain skills to help people with I/DD, such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. You’ll teach them to do things for themselves, helping them live more independent, purposeful lives. 

BAYADA Home Health Care currently has clients in and around Columbia and Montour Counties, PA! BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - DSPs - work 1:1 in home and community settings as a companion and mentor. We specialize in assisting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities reach their full potential!

 

Make an Impact:

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, hygiene)
• Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and housekeeping
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Participate in community integration activities
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities

 

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule 
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts) 
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities near your home)
• Mileage reimbursement

Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
