About the Role
You will provide clinical and operational leadership for the Polio Services Victoria (PSV) program ensuring delivery of an efficient, effective and clinically relevant service.
This involves:
effectively managing the multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality, efficient, flexible service is delivered and targets are achieved.
screen, assess and prioritise referrals according to service guidelines and processes
provide education, support and advice to referrers regarding the management of polio clients
Classifications for this position will range from Grade 3 Allied Health Clinician or Nursing equivalent (Grade 4).
Your Contribution
Relevant Allied Health or Nursing qualification, with minimum 7 years post graduate experience
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (depending on discipline)
Eligibility for membership with discipline peak body
Working knowledge of health care system and understanding the role of community ambulatory services within this system
Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills that incorporate excellent communication
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain and Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain

About Polio Services Victoria
Polio Services Victoria (PSV) is largely an assessment and referral service managing polio clients across Victoria. PSV delivers metropolitan clinics and regional clinics and has a role in providing expert advice and education to external health providers in the management of polio.
