WHAT YOU WILL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
You will work closely with business users, software developers, product managers, and technology leadership teams to conceptualize and develop solutions to improve middle - and back-office systems. You will understand business needs, define technical requirements, prioritize
product roadmaps, support current applications, and align product goals and priorities with leadership, business users, and development teams. Additionally, you will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across financial operations, Arcesium, and technology teams. You will also gather customer feedback to refine the product and prioritize features based on impact and feasibility. Furthermore, you will have ample opportunities to partner closely with global leaders across our Information Technology, Finance and Operations teams.

Basic qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or an MBA, with 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably within financial services and asset management environments
â
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences and senior stakeholders
â
Excellent analytical, data-driven decision-making and structured problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis tools to identify root causes, evaluate trade-offs, drive practical solutions and inform product strategy and prioritization
â
A proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, translating non-technical business needs into clear product and technical requirements in fast-paced environments
â
Experience negotiating and balancing competing stakeholder priorities, building consensus, and maintaining a good customer-service-oriented mindset
â
Hands-on experience working within Agile methodologies, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern technology delivery practices
â
A proven track record of owning and managing technology products end-to-end, from discovery and roadmap definition through delivery and ongoing optimization
â
Sound knowledge of financial instruments, markets, trading systems, and the operational workflows that support them
â
Experience driving workflow automation and process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational controls
Preferred qualifications:

Exposure to the investment management or fund accounting domain
â
Deep familiarity with middle- and back-office processes within hedge funds or asset management firms, including trade settlement, reconciliation, portfolio and fund accounting, taxation, and investor reporting
