Role Overview
- This role is positioned as a consulting and business analysis function aligned to the services domain, with a strong emphasis on networking-related solutions and services.
- The individual will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, networking/domain teams, and development teams, ensuring clear translation of business needs into solution requirements.
Key Skill Requirements
Domain & Industry Expertise
- Strong industry and domain knowledge within the services landscape, with proven exposure to networking domains, such as:
- Enterprise networking, data center networking, and cloud networking concepts.
- Network services, operations, and service delivery models.
- Familiarity with networking-related use cases across services, Q2C, or supply chain environments.
- Ability to understand network-driven business problems, operational challenges, and service inefficiencies.
Business Analysis & Process Skills
- Ability to:
- Understand, analyze, and articulate complex business and networking-related problems.
- Map, document, and optimize end-to-end business and service processes, including those involving network operations and service workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and automation, particularly in networking-enabled services.
Data & Analytical Skills
- Hands-on exposure to data analysis, including:
- Working with structured and semi-structured datasets (including operational or network-related data).
- Performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
- Translating data insights into actionable business and service recommendations.
AI/ML Awareness
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and techniques, sufficient to:
- Identify AI/ML use cases relevant to networking services and operations (e.g., prediction, optimization, automation).
- Propose AI/ML-driven solution approaches at a conceptual level.
- Effectively collaborate with technical and development teams (no hands-on model development required).
Expected Responsibilities
- Engage in a typical consulting lifecycle, including:
- Understanding business objectives, service requirements, and networking-related problem statements.
- Defining functional requirements and user stories with clear linkage to networking and service workflows.
- Collaborating with development and architecture teams to support solution design and validation.
- Supporting solution rollout, adoption, and alignment with business and networking stakeholders.
- Act as a functional, analytical, and domain lead, providing clarity on services and networking requirements rather than performing technical development.
Seniority Level
- Mid-level profile preferred.
- A very senior resource is not required, as:
- The initial portfolio and scope are relatively small.
- The objective is to validate skills, domain fit, and delivery approach before scaling the engagement further.
