Morpheus Automation & Administration Engineer

Location : Bengaluru / Pune  Job Summary:

We are seeking a Morpheus Automation & Administration Engineer to manage, automate, and optimize Morpheus infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Morpheus platform administration, provisioning, automation, self-service, identity & access, multi-tenancy, monitoring, security, backup, and cost management.

This role requires hands-on experience in Terraform, Ansible, Python, PowerShell, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, VMware) along with strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Morpheus Platform Administration & Infrastructure Management

· Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain the Morpheus platform across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

· Manage identity and access controls in Morpheus to enforce secure authentication and authorization.

· Implement and administer multi-tenant models to ensure isolated and scalable environments.

· Configure and optimize plans, pricing models, quotas, and chargeback mechanisms in Morpheus.

· Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to ensure platform stability and high availability.

· Apply patches, security updates, and version upgrades to maintain security compliance.

· Manage backup and disaster recovery configurations for business continuity.

Morpheus Automation & Self-Service Enablement

· Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.

· Configure self-service provisioning catalog for a seamless user experience.

· Integrate Morpheus tasks and workflows with automation pipelines and external tools.

Morpheus Integrations – Network, Storage, and Automation

· Manage Morpheus integrations for networking, storage, and automation tools.

· Configure integrations with load balancers, firewalls, DNS, VLANs, and IPAM solutions.

· Enable Morpheus storage integrations with NFS, iSCSI, block storage, and cloud storage providers.

· Automate VM provisioning, patching, backup, and security controls using Morpheus workflows.

Supported App Blueprint Types:

· Morpheus (Native configurations)

· Terraform (IaC automation)

· ARM (Azure Resource Manager)

· CloudFormation (AWS)

· Kubernetes & Helm (Container management)

Provisioning & Resource Management

· Manage Morpheus provisioning for VMs, containers, databases, and applications across cloud platforms.

· Optimize resource allocation, cost control, and performance tuning in multi-cloud environments.

· Ensure secure and efficient cloud integrations with Azure, AWS, and VMware.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

· Configure Morpheus App Monitors to track system health, performance, and failures.

· Troubleshoot system failures, provisioning issues, and API-related errors in Morpheus.

· Ensure log management, auditing, and compliance tracking for platform governance.

· Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Morpheus platform troubleshooting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Strong expertise in Morpheus administration & automation (Identity & Access, Multi-Tenancy, Self-Service, Tasks, Workflows, Provisioning).

· Hands-on experience with automation tools:

o Terraform – Infrastructure as Code for provisioning.

o Ansible – Configuration management and automation.

o Python – Scripting for automation and API integration.

o PowerShell & Bash – For managing Windows/Linux environments.

o REST APIs – Integrating Morpheus with external systems.

· Cloud expertise – Experience working with Azure, AWS, VMware.

· Strong Linux administration & troubleshooting skills.

· Networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, DNS, security groups).

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with Morpheus integrations

· Automation with Morpheus

· Deep expertise in automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and API scripting.

· Morpheus certifications (if available)
