What this job involves
Electrical Systems (Primary)
Operate and maintain LT switchgear, APFC panels, earthing & lightning protection, bus ducts, and cable networks.
Manage UPS systems(redundancy, battery health, autonomy tests) and Electrical LT panels , PDUs, stabilizers, DBs/MDBs/SMDBs; ensure clean power for sensitive equipment.
Perform load studies, harmonic analysis, and protective relay testing; maintain single line diagrams (SLDs) and as‑built documentation.
Plan and execute preventive & predictive maintenance (PPM/CBM), shutdowns, and energization procedures; enforce LOTO.
Troubleshoot faults and perform root cause analysis (RCA); implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Operate and maintain , AHUs/MAHUs, FCUs, ventilation/exhaust systems, VAVs, VFDs, VRF/VRV, and ducting.
Ensure temperature, humidity, differential pressure, and airflow meet specifications at office environment
Monitor and operation of centralized RO plant water treatment
Optimize energy through BMS tuning, scheduling, setpoint optimization, and chilled water delta‑T improvement.
Use BMS/EMS/SCADA for monitoring alarms, trending, and analytics; maintain sensor calibration.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety (IE Rules/CEA), IS/IEC standards, fire & life safety, and environmental norms (PCB/ISO 14001).
Maintain statutory records: test certificates, inspection reports, and equipment logbooks.
Coordinate with EHS for risk assessments, Work permits and drills; lead toolbox talks.
Support capacity planning, retrofits, energy‑efficiency projects, and new tool/utilities hook‑ups.
Review technical submissions, SOWs, and drawings; supervise contractors; ensure QA/QC and as‑built documentation.
Drive OEE/uptime, MTBF/MTTR improvements, and energy intensity reduction projects (e.g., VFDs, LED upgrades, heat recovery).
Coordinate with operations, labs, IT, security, and senior leadership on outages and changes.
Manage AMCs, SLA performance, spares strategy, and vendor audits.
Prepare reports: daily/weekly dashboards, incident reports, and CAPA trackers.
Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrica (Electrical preferred).
3–8 years (Engineer)
Review executed work orders, logs, forms, and related documentation on a daily basis to help ensure they are complete, current, and reflect the tasks as performed, and are appropriated filed in the CMMS, or other required system.
Ensure all safety, environmental, and site standards are strictly adhered to within the facility by both JLL and any JLL vendors performing work. Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, all applicable building codes and JLL policies and procedures.
Preparing test setup for customer requirements and working with them for any support on equipment’s
Operating knowledge of various test equipment’s like, DC power supplies, Function/Signal generator, Source meter
PPE consumable Inventory monitoring
Approaching vendors for lab infrastructure development.
Handling of Facility service request within SLA
