Responsibilities:
- Safeguard cloud-hosted systems like the Electronic Contract Writing Module across AWS and Azure environments while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense standards
- Leverage comprehensive knowledge of cloud security engineering, Infrastructure as Code protection, and container security
- Mastery of DoD Risk Management Framework processes and NIST standards
- Benefit from advanced vulnerability assessment capabilities and security testing methodologies
- Enable systematic threat identification and mitigation through sophisticated tools and cloud security posture management platforms
- Mentor assessment teams and development groups while effectively presenting complex security concepts to audiences ranging from technical specialists to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement of cloud security standards, balancing rigorous requirements with operational efficiency and mission effectiveness
- Facilitate seamless integration of cloud applications with existing infrastructure while maintaining appropriate classification levels
- Excel in implementing security automation and DevSecOps practices, leveraging cloud-native services for incident response and threat hunting
- Deliver comprehensive security solutions that protect sensitive contracting data while enabling innovative cloud adoption strategies that advance DoD's technological capabilities
Requirements:
- Five (5)+ years of experience achieving ATOs in a DoD cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and security integration practices
- Relevant Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Relevant Cyber Security certification (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, etc.)
- Experience working with enterprise DoD IT
- Must possess IT-II Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
- Must be a US Citizen
