Windows Infrastructure Engineer

Galent is seeking a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to participate in large-scale Active Directory implementation projects. The role involves managing and supporting multiple Active Directory environments, ensuring security compliance, and improving overall system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in large-scale Active Directory implementation projects involving medium to high complexity environments
• Perform Active Directory security hardening , engineering, and operational tasks aligned with corporate security standards
• Act as an advisor to internal teams and business owners on improving and securing Active Directory environments
• Support Active Directory consolidation initiatives , especially related to mergers and acquisitions
• Investigate and resolve unusual Active Directory activity, performance issues, and security concerns
• Participate in Active Directory audits, reviews, and security investigations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
• Monitor and maintain Active Directory stability, performance, and availability
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for production support
• Manage and support multiple Active Directory environments across the organization
• Monitor Active Directory performance and resolve replication, authentication, and infrastructure issues
• Work with business and application teams to remediate security vulnerabilities within Active Directory
• Use security scanning and monitoring tools to ensure compliance with enterprise security baselines
• Support application migrations to centralized Active Directory or cloud environments
• Drive efforts to simplify and consolidate Active Directory infrastructure across the organization

Requirements:

• DNS
• Group Policy Objects (GPO)
• Microsoft Intune
• Entra ID / Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Active Directory administration and engineering (Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 through latest versions such as Windows Server 2022 / 2025)
