Principal Security Engineer

Accutive Security partners with advanced organizations to tackle challenges in security and cryptography. They are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead security initiatives, guide clients, and architect security platforms, while also managing CyberArk machine identity products.

Responsibilities:

• Support discovery sessions and technical workshops with preparation, documentation, and follow up analysis
• Assist in designing PKI, CLM, HSM, and key management solutions across on premise, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Translate technical requirements into implementation tasks and automation workflows
• Document architecture diagrams, integration flows, and operational models
• Own A Technical Pod
• Implement and configure CLM and cryptographic platforms under senior guidance
• Support deployment and configuration of HSM solutions including cloud based HSM environments
• Configure certificate enrollment protocols including ACME, SCEP, and EST
• Integrate certificate and key management platforms with DevOps and CI CD environments
• Validate prerequisites, dependencies, and environment readiness before and during project kickoff
• Design and build automation scripts for certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation using APIs and SDKs
• Develop scripts and tooling using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tooling
• Assist in building monitoring, reporting, and compliance dashboards
• Support troubleshooting of complex integration and environmental issues
• Document runbooks, procedures, and operational workflows
• Participate in customer calls and workshops with preparation and structured follow ups
• Maintain accurate task updates, blockers, risks, and next steps
• Provide weekly status inputs for customer and internal reporting
• Record time accurately against project tasks with clear descriptions of work performed
• Escalate risks and technical challenges proactively
• Support Sales in gathering technical requirements and clarifying environment details
• Contribute to technical scoping discussions and level of effort estimates
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, or follow on engagement

Requirements:

• Deep technical expertise in cryptography, PKI, certificate lifecycle management, machine identity security, and enterprise-scale privileged access solutions
• Strong client-facing consulting skills
• Experience leading high-impact security initiatives
• Ability to guide clients through strategic and technical decisions
• Experience architecting resilient, modern security platforms
• Ownership of CyberArk machine identity products
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing the CyberArk ecosystem across complex enterprise environments
