Senior Support Engineer

SRM Digital LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Support Engineer with strong expertise in InterSystems technologies and healthcare integration systems. The role involves analyzing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing complex application systems while collaborating with various teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for enterprise applications built on InterSystems Cache and IRIS platforms
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement permanent solutions
• Review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Develop and maintain applications using ObjectScript, MUMPS, and Cache Server Pages (CSP)
• Implement system improvements, performance tuning, and enhancements based on operational requirements
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation practices, and system architecture guidelines
• Support system integrations using HL7 messaging, XML/XSLT, and SQL-based data operations
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve data exchange and interoperability between healthcare systems
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data integrity across systems
• Perform Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation, system monitoring, and operational tasks
• Assist with system upgrades, patching, and environment management
• Participate in system migration and upgrade projects, including upgrades from Cache to InterSystems IRIS
• Provide technical consultation and guidance on complex support issues and system architecture
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to resolve technical challenges
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements:

• Strong experience with InterSystems Cache, ObjectScript, and Cache Server Pages (CSP)
• Proficiency in MUMPS programming
• Hands-on experience with InterSystems IRIS platform
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, XML, and XSLT
• Hands-on experience with HL7 messaging and healthcare integrations
