Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, and they are seeking a Product Manager to own the buyer experience on their Optimized Checkout Suite. This role involves setting the vision, defining the strategy, and executing the roadmap to enhance the checkout experience for users.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the long-term vision and strategy for Stripe’s OCS buyer experience prioritize accordingly, and create an execution roadmap
- Deeply understand our users’ needs by spending time with developers, sales, and support, and by observing patterns/trends across their feedback and the market
- Propose the right experiments to run to ensure we have the safest and most performant checkout on the internet
- Set the pace, prioritization and execution for the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Operations
Requirements:
- Brings 8+ years of experience in a product management role
- Has partnered closely with engineers and designers to build products (especially front end surfaces) and complex systems at scale
- Has an obsession with product quality and an eye for design
- Has the ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
- Brings a desire for continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium, and large releases
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
- Strong business acumen and comfortable with complex ecosystem and system level problems
- Experience with payment integrations is a plus
- ML and experimentation experience
