Accoya® North America is seeking a full-time Sales Engineer to support their expanding Acumatica ERP business. The role involves conducting product demonstrations, crafting tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor to prospects and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical lead in the sales process, supporting account executives with deep product knowledge of Acumatica ERP
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with prospects to understand their business processes, pain points, and system requirements
- Prepare and deliver customized, high-impact product demonstrations and presentations for Acumatica ERP tailored to specific industries (manufacturing, distribution, services, etc.)
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to delivery
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical and functional information
- Provide input into product development by sharing customer feedback and industry trends with the product and development teams
- Stay current on new Acumatica modules, updates, and relevant third-party integrations
- Support partner and channel sales efforts with technical sales enablement and training
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other industry events
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Solutions Architect role with ERP software
- Hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP is strongly preferred, including knowledge of modules such as Financials, Distribution, CRM, Manufacturing, or Construction
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Strong problem-solving and consultative sales skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing role
- Strong understanding of core business processes: accounting, supply chain, CRM, or project management
- Acumatica certifications (e.g., Business Consultant, Developer) are a plus
- Familiarity with competitor ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Dynamics 365, SAP Business One, Sage Intacct)
- Experience with Acumatica customization tools (e.g., Generic Inquiries, Workflows, Customization Projects)
- Understanding of SaaS business models and cloud-based architecture
