Buxton Consulting is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Management Office (PMO) professional to support the Oracle Practice. The PMO will manage project governance, resource coordination, reporting, and ensure successful delivery of Oracle implementation programs across multiple clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support governance and operational activities for Oracle implementation and support projects
- Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and risks across multiple Oracle programs
- Prepare weekly/monthly status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
- Coordinate with delivery leads, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Monitor project financials including budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, and utilization
- Maintain documentation such as project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and change requests
- Support resource planning and allocation for Oracle projects including SCM, ERP, HCM, and WMS streams
- Ensure compliance with internal project management standards and governance frameworks
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committee reviews, and action item tracking
- Assist in continuous improvement of PMO processes, templates, and reporting tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in PMO, project coordination, or project management support roles
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar tools
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Experience supporting Oracle implementation or enterprise ERP programs is preferred
- Experience working in a consulting environment supporting large Oracle transformation programs
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud, SCM, HCM, CPQ, or WMS implementations
- PMP, PRINCE2, or PMO certification is a plus
- Experience with financial tracking, resource planning, and program governance
