Sr. QA Automation Test Engineer/Test Manager with Health Medicaid/Medicare

The Senior Tester is responsible for driving high-quality software delivery through technical testing, automation, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements to design detailed test plans and cases
• Define test objectives and acceptance criteria
• Promote and contribute to Test CoE processes
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing
• Conduct advanced SQL queries for backend validation
• Document, track, and analyze defects
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Identify automation candidates
• Optimize automation frameworks
• Mentor testers in test design, SQL, and automation
• Conduct peer reviews of test artifacts
• Provide technical leadership across the team
• Work with developers, BAs, and release management
• Support release cycles and regression planning
• Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams
• Identify risks and escalate as needed
• Support mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• 8+ years software testing experience
• Healthcare/Medicaid/MMIS experience
• Advanced SQL expertise
• Experience with ALM/Quality Center
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Exposure to performance testing and TDM tools
• ISTQB or similar certification
