Yahoo is seeking a detail-oriented People Analytics Associate to join their People Analytics team. This role focuses on turning raw workforce data into actionable insights, supporting executive decision-making through high-quality, data-driven materials, and managing survey platforms and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Report Generation & Maintenance: Own the end-to-end production of recurring operational reports (e.g., headcount). Ensure data integrity and timeliness for all scheduled deliveries
- Dashboard Development: Audit, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Workday Discovery Boards and Looker Studio. Translate complex People data into intuitive, self-service visualizations that stakeholders can navigate easily
- Data Storytelling: Prepare high-quality slide decks and data summaries for leadership. You will be expected to synthesize complex datasets into clear, concise, and professional presentations that facilitate strategic decision-making
- Survey Program Management: Act as the technical lead for our survey platform. You will be responsible for light configuration, running regular survey cycles, and working with the vendor on enhancements and tweaks based on stakeholder feedback
- Vendor Management: Manage relationship with our survey vendor to ensure deliverables, service-level agreements (SLAs), and technical integrations are meeting organizational needs
- Insight Generation: Identify trends, anomalies, or correlations in our people data, providing the "why" behind the numbers to support business strategies
- Audit & Compliance Stewardship: Serve as a key contributor during internal and external HR audits. You will be responsible for providing accurate, time-stamped data, maintaining clear documentation of report logic (e.g., data lineage), and ensuring all reporting outputs adhere to data privacy and security standards
- Data Governance & Integrity: Champion data hygiene. Regularly reconcile data discrepancies between Workday and downstream reporting tools (e.g., Looker) to ensure a "single source of truth," minimizing risks during audit cycles
