About this role
Raydar is an AI-first fintech startup on a mission to modernize the mortgage industry. They are seeking a Senior to Staff level Software Engineer to lead development on their core platform, shipping production code and owning features end-to-end.
Responsibilities:
- Build and launch complex, multi-step AI agents that automate mortgage operations workflows
- Integrate with third-party lending APIs for document generation, automated underwriting, and fraud prevention
- Architect and scale our job processing infrastructure on AWS
- Develop full-stack features from design through deployment
- Contribute to a highly reliable, observable, low-maintenance infrastructure
Requirements:
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills with examples of complex systems built hands-on
- Proven track record of shipping real products end-to-end
- Experience building full-stack web features in a fast-moving environment
- AWS infrastructure experience
- Ability to design and scale complex relational DB schemas
- SRE mindset — you care about reliability, observability, and low operational overhead
- Familiarity with AI product development (evals, experiment design, dataset curation)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems
- Active GitHub profile
