Asurion is a global leader in connected life services, providing support and protection for technology users. They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance their Microsoft ERP Platform by providing application support, monitoring, and collaborating with development teams to ensure business process health and stability.
Responsibilities:
- Guardians of all global applications on going availability and stability
- Resolves issues escalated from users of Dynamics AX (2009, 2012, & Dynamics 365 versions)
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues identified by monitoring/alerting
- Drive root cause analysis for critical system disruption
- Analyze, identify, document, and deploy application monitoring requirements
- Collaborate with development and delivery organization to develop proactive support strategies to new features and business processes
- Analyze existing and new solutions/approaches to identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and availability
- Must be available to work extended hours as necessary
- Effectively work through undocumented processes to resolve issues
- Develops tools/processes to speed up incident resolution
- Performs complex environment changes with accuracy
- Maintain global view and an active participating role in all portfolio and operation activities
- Active participation in portfolio delivery model including all changes and releases
- On-call coverage/Rotation
Requirements:
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Consciousness and methodical in executing high sensitivity tasks

- Understanding of version control and build and deploy pipeline concepts
- Basic Windows server administration
- Basic programming/scripting skills such as C#, PowerShell, or Python
- Proficient with basic database querying skills (MS SQL and/or T SQL)
- Over a year of experience working in an enterprise technology function
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent STEM background
