Natera is a global leader in cell-free DNA testing, dedicated to oncology, women’s health, and organ health. They are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and commercialization of somatic biomarker products, driving the product lifecycle and enhancing product performance to directly impact patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product roadmap for somatic biomarker products
- Prioritize new features and initiatives, balancing customer needs and operational constraints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development, to ensure successful product execution
- Oversee product performance, identify key metrics, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement strategies
- Analyze performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement changes to improve product quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness
- Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product development and support growth
- Leverage market insights to validate new features, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure product-market fit
- Identify new business opportunities and create financial models to support product initiatives and strategic investments
- Develop comprehensive business cases that align with company objectives and present data-driven strategies to senior leadership for alignment and buy-in
- Collaborate with Marketing to define product positioning, develop market launch strategies, and create compelling marketing collateral
- Communicate the product vision, progress, and roadmap updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure seamless collaboration between departments to achieve business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in product management, product marketing, commercialization, or strategic consulting
- Proven track record of leading product management initiatives in the life sciences or biotech industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals
- In-depth understanding of core technologies and the ability to translate customer needs into compelling value propositions
- Exceptional project and process management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and drive cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical skills for data-informed decision-making and identifying market opportunities
- Master's or PhD
- Experience with oncology products, diagnostics, or medical devices, particularly in molecular testing or somatic biomarker testing
- Basic financial modeling skills and the ability to develop business cases are a plus
