GE Vernova is a global leader in gas turbines and power plant technologies and services, and they are seeking a Senior Project Controller to lead project scheduling and ensure on-time delivery for complex EPC and Mega Infrastructure projects. The role involves managing integrated project schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing comprehensive performance assessments to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain L3 baseline schedules using Primavera P6
- Lead schedule reviews, progress reporting, critical path analysis, and monthly deep‑dives
- Provide schedule risk assessments and support mitigation planning with cross‑functional teams
- Manage schedule impacts related to claims, change orders, and customer variations
- Collaborate with partners, Engineering, C&I site teams, and project leadership to ensure alignment and timely updates
- Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and KPIs
- Prepare schedule documentation for reviews, reporting, and project close‑out
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Min. 10 years' experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function
- Only candidates meeting the basic requirement in the following industries Power/Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Power Plant, Infrastructure/Construction will be considered
- Must be willing to work on East Coast time zone (EST) hours, supporting Project Management Offices Located in Atlanta, GA. Schenectady, NY and Greenville, South Carolina
- Expertise of EPC environments and work processes of large EPC Projects
- Expertise in Primavera P6 & Risk Analysis Tools
- Experienced with Extension of time Claims and Forensic Planning
- Lead large complex project team reviews as well as to simplify complex messages with excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support multiple internal customers and partners with competing priorities in a matrixed environment
- Experience collaborating with multiple functions such as engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, projects and logistics
