Orbit AI is building the future of undergraduate college admissions guidance by combining real admissions expertise with powerful AI tools. They are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to help build fast, intuitive, and reliable web experiences and backend infrastructure for students navigating the college application process.
Responsibilities:
- Build responsive interfaces using React and Next.js
- Develop modern UI using TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
- Integrate APIs and backend services
- Improve Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, and overall page performance
- Work on bundle optimization, lazy loading, caching, and rendering strategies
- Collaborate on product decisions to improve the student experience
- Build Microservices for Backend API
- Build a data privacy and protection Infrastructure
- Build a smooth User experience UI/UX
Requirements:
- Prior work experience with React or Next.js
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Continuous delivery and urgency in execution
- Ability to think about product experience and performance together
- L3-L4 developers
- US based
- Super active on github
- Understands College Admissions
- Can start immediately
- Available for 40 hours a week
