POSITION TITLE: Service Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide excellent service to restaurant customers and restaurant Service Persons
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Interact pleasantly with guests when moving through the dining room
Ø Know the hours/days of operation
Ø Complete prep, running, and post shift side-work requirements
Ø Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for our guests
Ø Responsible for maintaining required supply levels in the dining room and service kitchens
Ø Maintain a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room
Ø Assist Servers in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
Ø Accommodate the needs and requests of any guest
Ø Assist servers with delivering orders to guests when possible
Ø Build relationships with customers
Ø Abide by appearance standards
Ø Delight our guests with outstanding service
Ø Ensure service recovery activities
Ø Handle money according to procedure
Ø Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
Ø Follow guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Board
Ø Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner
Ø Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø High school diploma or GED preferred
Ø Six months prior food service experience preferred
Ø Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
Ø Legible handwriting
Ø Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly and correctly
Ø Excellent customer service and communication skills required
Ø Willing to learn and be adaptable
Ø Attention to detail/Observant
Ø Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
Ø Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Ø Must be able to carry and balance food service tray
Ø Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously
Ø Must be able to be on feet for 8-hour shift
Ø Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grasp items
Ø Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Ø Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ø Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smoke
Ø Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
