Your Responsibilities:
- Utilizing CAM Software (Mastercam) to program new parts or work pieces, for a variety of processing machines (C.N.C Lathe, C.N.C Mill)
- Set up and operate a variety of different machines.
- C.N.C equipment: C.N.C vertical milling centers, C.N.C turning center.
- Manual equipment: Mills, lathes, surface grinders, saws, drill press, notchers.
- Create geometry data for complex work pieces using drawings or engineering specifications.
- Perform CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) tasks related to NC programming, including description of geometry and technology, creation of tool plans and definition of machining process sequences.
- Design, optimize, and test-run functionality of respective programs, and define order sequences, machining tools and cutting data.
- Set up the CNC machining centers, and support Operators on CNC machines to operate/parametrize the programs effectively.
- Working Hours M-F (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). Willing to work OT when needed.
Your Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree / C.N.C Machining Certificate or High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of proven experience in a machine shop.
- Proficient utilizing CAM Software to fabricate Parts for a C.N.C Lathe and C.N.C Mill. (Mastercam preferred)
- Practical knowledge of machine tooling and machine operations.
- Experience or understanding of cutting parameters such as feeds, speeds.
- Proficient reading blueprints and following GD&T.
- Sheetmetal Skills preferred (Programming CNC Punch Press, Drawing flat patterns, calculating bend allowances)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop process plans and specify necessary tools.
- Effective team collaboration skills.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visas or sponsorship.
- Expected Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000 + Eligiblity for Overtime
