Clean dishes and labware.
Responsible for retains, including transfers to storage areas.
Executes all weekly beds & fines testing.
Responsible for routine, repetitive tasks, such as restocks supplies, change waste drums, etc.
Perform basic in process & final testing.
Report the results & disposition material in SAP monitors SAP card updates.
Perform routine equipment troubleshooting, calibrations and control charting.
Perform weekly shower, eye wash & fire extinguisher inspections.
Collect water samples for daily waste water treatment testing.
Perform general housekeeping.
Maintain accuracy & timeliness of test data.
The following are required for the role
Two year college degree in scientific or engineering field or 3-5 years of documented technical laboratory experience.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and multiple tasks as required, in different laboratories.
Operate & maintain a variety of test equipment of varying degrees of complexity, including but not limited to X-ray, BETC, Tensometers, FTIR, viscometer, hydraulic press.
Perform routine equipment troubleshooting.
Ability to effectively utilize personal, mainframe, & material movement computers & devices & site licensed programs.
Change shifts as required to provide coverage.
Written and verbal skills to communicate and applicable math skills.
Familiarity with laboratory experimentation; ability to design experiments, collect, organize, and interpret experimental data.
Superior organizational skills to maintain accurate records. Careful and concise documentation.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, self-motivated, independent worker.
Knowledge and applications of safety, environmental, and quality guidelines and procedures.
Good communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, flexible & willing to work in various work locations as assigned, self-motivated and good team player.
Valid drivers license required to drive a plant transport vehicle.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without accommodation
Must have satisfactory work record.
The following are preferred for the role:
Four year college degree in scientific or engineering field or 3-5 years of documented technical laboratory experience.
Experience in use of computers desired.
Previous experience in laboratory performing chemical and/or physical testing is preferred.
