Join our team as an Occupational Therapist within our Inpatient Occupational Therapy department at Scripps Encinitas. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide.
The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age specific care as established for area and job title.

Requirements:
· Current CA Occupational Therapy license OR Pending CA OT license. Must be in hand to start.
· Graduate from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
· Current BLS Certificate
Preferred Experience:
· At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
