The Team:
The Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) is a unified team focused on transforming our exceptional data assets. Unity is built and reinforced at each layer of the organization, a principle that helps to establish our core purpose: ensuring coordination, collaboration, and transparency across the entire EDO Technology team
EDO Enterprise Architecture is responsible for ensuring a unified technology strategy that aligns with the goals of the EDO as a whole. This does not mean EDO Architecture will act as a singular body for reviewing individual solutions' architecture choices. Instead, this group will act as the centralization point for information sharing to minimize or eliminate repetition, drift, and other common problems with systems architecture at scale.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Support the development, maintenance, and governance of enterprise-wide architectures across business, capability, information, technical, and solution domains, including collaborating with senior executives to define the enterprise architecture vision and strategy.
Guide and govern the delivery of architecture guidance to project teams and establish architectural direction for key strategic initiatives across the EDO.
Develop architectural approach & principles and manage large-scale transformation programs.
Provide architecture guidance for initiatives and solution designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, principles, patterns, blueprints, etc. and escalate decisions to EARB, as required.
Ensure DAB decisions, rationales, and approved architecture standards are clearly documented, published, and communicated effectively, in alignment with the tooling and repository recommendations.
Identify gaps in architecture assets to provide solution guidance for enhancing architecture frameworks, blueprints, roadmaps, and design patterns.
Conduct quarterly capability matrix reviews, which will contribute to a summarized EARB capability review for the TLT view.
Support architecture asset owners to develop standards and resolve challenges with their application.
Engage with the central EA office to drive community engagement, capability roadmaps and knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with Senior Product, Technology, and Business leaders to align technology & architectural decisions with investment prioritization.
Deep expertise in one or more core architectural domains: Data Architecture, Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), Microservices, or API-led architecture.
Strategic partnership lens, with understanding of entire data & software lifecycle, to enable comprehensive support of Enterprise Data Organization needs.
Expertise in developing clear Points of View on technology, industry, and market trends, and determining their quantifiable potential impact on the enterprise.
15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or related fields, demonstrating a strong track record of leading architectural initiatives and driving business value through technology alignment.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related discipline; Master’s or MBA is a plus. Relevant architecture certifications are desirable.
