Job Description:
Arterra Wines Canada is Canada’s leading producer and marketer of award-winning, globally recognized Canadian and imported wines. The Maintenance Technician at Inniskillin Estates will be responsible for maintaining company assets in good order to ensure business continuity and productivity. . Our chosen candidates must be energetic, personable, upbeat and responsible. Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
What you'll be doing:
- General carpentry & facility equipment repair/maintenance; perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot issues, recommend improvements.
- Complete documentation and inspections as required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with the facility equipment.
- Manage relationships with service contractors and suppliers to develop project budgets / quotes and co-ordinate logistics of repairs or projects
- Attend departmental safety and other meetings as required
- Who you are:
- Grade 12
- 3-5 years in various general facilities maintenance positions
- Level 1 first aid
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift certification
- WHMIS
- Plumbing Experience
- Working Conditions:
- Indoor/Outdoor exposed to varying terrain, temperatures and weather conditions
- Exposure to chemicals
- Operates power tools
- Requirement to lift up to 50lbs
