Role Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team in Boardwalk Social, where you will be inspired to produce the highest quality food experience for our guests working with and for an exceptional brigade and creating flavours with vibrancy and excitement.   

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Chef, as Chef de Partie you will supervise an engaged culinary team within Boardwalk Social and produce and deliver consistent high-quality dishes that wow our guests. You will ensure our Kitchen is operating effectively, and maintain food safety and workplace health and safety standards.

Skills and experience:

We are seeking individuals with passion for food and who are driven and creative and display:

• A lead by example attitude - collectively team focused, fostering collaboration and inclusion 
• Academic achievement of a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management
• A creative and varied portfolio of cooking experience in high volume kitchens 
• The inherent ability to manage relevant stock levels 
• An ambition on sustainable practices - farm to table sourcing
• A healthy respect for workplace health and safety practices and procedures
• Natural leadership capability - happy to train and support junior members of the kitchen brigade
