Copenhagen | Global Masterbrand Team
Contract type: Full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract
Our LEGO Agency, The LEGO Group
At The LEGO Group, creativity is our foundation. This is about chemistry, playfulness and building cut through, culturally impactful work. This is a Full-time contract. Based in Copenhagen. No relocation, you must already be here.
The Role
This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape creativity at The LEGO Group. As a Senior Conceptual Art Director, you’ll create bold, award-worthy ideas that redefine LEGO brand storytelling worldwide. You relish ambiguity. Collaboration and brainstorms for you are like conversations. You can go from simple to absurd in seconds. Working as half of an award-winning team, you’ll build iconic visual worlds and set new standards for craft, culture, and playful imaginative excellence across every platform
What You’ll Do
Turn strong ideas into bold, contemporary visual worlds
Drive brand-level concepts across social, digital, creators, and emerging platforms
Lead campaigns from first thought to final execution
Build systems, not just assets
Present work with confidence and clarity
Collaborate across teams and markets
Push craft. Elevate taste. Raise the bar.
What You Bring
Concept-first mindset
You think platform-agnostic. You design with intention. You know when to go big and when to hold back.
Cultural instinct
You’re fluent and flexible from developing brand systems to internet culture, creators, memes, and formats. You know what’s funny. What lands. What doesn’t. You understand how brands show up authentically today.
Senior experience
You’re as strong solo as you are side-by-side. You’ve worked on global, high-profile brands. You’re comfortable in complex ecosystems. You can lead production, give clear feedback, and make creative decisions with autonomy.
Tools Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, visualization), Figma, PowerPoint.
Who You Are
Based in Copenhagen
Collaborative and ego-light
Serious about the work, not about yourself
Optimistic, sharp, calm, and ambitious
Strong comedic instinct and natural sense of humour
