ISTARI is a strategic cybersecurity advisory company focused on building a robust cybersecurity ecosystem. The Senior Manager in the Advisory practice will be responsible for delivering complex cybersecurity engagements, managing project timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective programme management and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers key components of advisory engagements, manages project workstreams, and ensures deliverables meet client requirements
- Manage programmes to define objectives, scope, timelines, and budgets
- You will produce status reports and escalate potential delays or budget overruns in advance
- Build Proposals, effort estimation, solution engineering for large complex cyber transformation engagements
- Supports Directors, Principals and Partners in creating content for client workshops, PoV, and other client-facing materials
- Works with the partners to manage the project; tracks project budget vs plan, manages subcontractors, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures invoices are correct and go out on time
- Contributes to internal delivery materials and fosters a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
- Experience: ~8-10+ years in cybersecurity consulting
- Expertise: Direct cyber expertise and delivery of cyber projects is essential
- Industry experience: Extensive cross-industry cybersecurity advisory projects across multiple cyber domains and capability areas
- Specialised Knowledge: Demonstrable experience in two or more key areas, such as Cybersecurity transformation, Security Architecture and Engineering, Supply chain risk, Cloud Security, OT Security, Cyber Defense and Cybersecurity strategy and risk management
- Key Skills: You are client-focused, collaborative, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders like the CISO and CIO
