Data Engineer

Tinybird is a company focused on enabling developers and data teams to harness the power of real-time data for building data products efficiently. They are seeking a Data Engineer who will define data architecture for clients, assist customers in working with real-time data at scale, and optimize performance solutions. The role involves collaboration with various teams and requires a strong SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Define data architecture for clients
• Understand client’s business goals and technical requirements, and turn complex problems into understandable, achievable solutions using Tinybird
• Help and teach customers to work in real-time at scale
• Work on complex optimization problems to reduce latencies and increase overall solution performance
• Develop quick prototypes to illustrate how certain things work or what is the best way to go about something
• Write efficient SQL as the platform is heavily based on SQL
• Collaborate with the product team to drive the roadmap based on customer insights
• Work with the sales-engineering team to assist in customer handovers or PoCs

Requirements:
