Software Engineer (AI)

Crisp is a leading AI vertical retail data company that leverages AI to optimize retail sales and supply chain infrastructure. The role involves designing and building systems for Crisp’s AI-driven retail data platform, collaborating with various teams to transform retail data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Help design and build the systems that power Crisp’s AI-driven retail data platform
• Work closely with product, data, and engineering partners to tackle complex, high-impact problems that turn massive volumes of retail data into actionable insights for brands and retailers
• Have real ownership, influence technical direction, and grow alongside a fast-scaling team shaping the future of the global supply chain

Requirements:

• Experience in designing and building systems for AI-driven platforms
• Ability to work closely with product, data, and engineering partners
• Hands-on experience with complex, high-impact problems
• Familiarity with statically typed modern languages, preferably Kotlin and TypeScript
• Experience with continuous deployment practices
• Knowledge of JVM based back-end development
• Experience with cloud-based services and minimizing technical debt
• Understanding of micro-services architecture
• Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to use AI thoughtfully as part of the toolchain
• Experience in building production-ready software for cloud-based, distributed systems
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment
