Data Center Engineer

NextGen, a subsidiary of Kelly Telecom, is seeking a Data Center Engineer to work from home. The role involves interfacing with operations and third-party vendors to conduct site surveys and manage data related to data center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with Operations and 3rd party Data Center vendors to perform site surveys
• Collect power, space, and patch panel data
• Input data into tools (1PSC Space Planner, CND)
• Perform Move/Add/Change/Delete updates

Requirements:

• Data Center space, power, and cabling knowledge
• CAD / Visio
• Data entry experience
• Google Docs, Sheets
• Smartsheets
• Telecom / Data Center experience
• CDCP – Certified Data Center Professional
