Control Systems Engineer

CandidTalent is a long established automation and engineering services company that supports heavy industrial clients across various sectors. They are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to work on Foxboro DCS systems, delivering automation solutions and improving control system performance in industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Configuration and implementation of Foxboro DCS systems
• Supporting system design, deployment, commissioning, and plant integration
• Working directly with customer sites to improve control system performance and reliability
• Supporting upgrades, migrations, and optimization projects
• Collaborating with project managers and other controls engineers on automation projects
• Occasionally working embedded at client sites for project delivery or commissioning

Requirements:

• Experience working with Foxboro DCS systems (configuration or implementation)
• Background in industrial process control environments such as pulp and paper, chemicals, mining, energy, or manufacturing
• Understanding of distributed control systems and plant automation environments
• Ability to work directly with industrial clients and troubleshoot real world control problems
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
• Engineers with a mix of commissioning, project delivery, plant support, or system integration experience are all of interest
