Apryse is the industry-leading provider of document software development technology, and they are seeking a Search Manager to lead and scale their SEO and SEM programs. The role involves overseeing search performance, managing a team, and ensuring alignment with business priorities while driving organic and paid search growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor SEO and SEM managers and specialists, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and development
- Own day-to-day search performance across organic, paid, and emerging search surfaces
- Build and refine team processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and delivery quality
- Set priorities, workflows, and performance standards across search initiatives
- Act as the primary owner for search reporting and performance communication to leadership
- Lead SEO strategy across technical SEO, content optimization, on-page, and off-page initiatives
- Support AEO and GEO strategy, optimizing content and structure for AI-driven search, LLMs, and answer engines
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and opportunity mapping across the funnel
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion performance, and lead optimization efforts
- Partner with content, web, and product teams to define SEO requirements for new pages, features, and initiatives
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that impact crawlability, indexing, performance, and rankings
- Ensure SEO best practices are embedded into site updates, launches, and migrations
- Own paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and emerging platforms
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns for new products, features, and use cases
- Manage budgets, pacing, and performance to meet CPA, ROAS, revenue, and growth targets
- Conduct ongoing testing across keywords, audiences, ad formats, landing pages, and bidding strategies
- Analyze campaign performance and deliver clear optimization recommendations
- Ensure paid search efforts align with broader growth and lifecycle marketing goals
- Own search performance reporting across SEO, SEM, and AEO/GEO
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting that surface insights, trends, and opportunities
- Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholders
- Partner with analytics and data teams to improve attribution, tracking, and measurement quality
- Use performance insights to guide roadmap planning, experimentation, and prioritization
- Work cross-functionally with web, engineering, content, product, and marketing teams
- Provide search strategy input into GTM planning, product launches, and growth initiatives
- Stay on top of search, AI, and platform trends and bring forward new opportunities
- Help shape long-term search and growth strategy as part of the broader marketing roadmap
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in SEO, SEM, or digital marketing, with demonstrated ownership of search programs
- 2+ years managing or mentoring team members, with experience improving execution and processes
- Strong hands-on experience with SEO, technical SEO, and content-driven growth
- Strong paid search experience managing performance-driven campaigns and budgets
- Experience with AEO/GEO, AI search, or LLM-driven discovery(or strong interest and fast learner)
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, and Matomo
- Experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, campaign optimization, and bidding strategies
- Strong reporting and analytics skills (Looker Studio, Power BI, Sheets/Excel, or similar)
- Proven ability to turn data into insights, recommendations, and clear communication
- Highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable owning execution at scale
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience working with SaaS, developer-focused products, or technical audiences
- Experience partnering with engineering or product teams on SEO or growth initiatives
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, CRO, or lifecycle marketing
- Experience with AthenaHQ or similar LLM monitoring platforms
