Responsibilities:

• Continuously improving latency, reliability, and performance as the platform scales
• Working on high-throughput ingestion and enabling sub-second data retrieval and query performance
• Influencing architecture and best practices across the broader data ecosystem

Requirements:

• Experience with Apache Iceberg
• Ability to operate across a multi-cloud environment
• Experience with high-throughput data ingestion
• Knowledge of CDC-based streaming events
• Ability to improve latency, reliability, and performance of data platforms
• Experience with data retrieval and query performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills related to complex data platform issues
• Experience working close to production systems
• Ability to influence architecture and best practices in data ecosystems
