Engineering Manager

Clover Health is transforming healthcare with innovative solutions like Counterpart Assistant. They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and develop high-performing teams while ensuring impactful results and fostering a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities:

• Drive team impact by fostering high technical productivity and reliability
• Cultivate a healthy, results-driven, and collaborative team culture
• Represent the team in engineering-wide planning, initiatives, and processes
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape our technical roadmap and solve problems that improve the patient and doctor experience
• Set and communicate clear team objectives that align with Counterpart's company goals and roadmap
• Lead hiring, development, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team

Requirements:

• You have technical leadership experience managing teams of 3+ engineers
• You have a strong background in system design and proficiency in general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Java
• You have a track record of leading development projects while creating opportunities for others to grow into leadership roles
• You have experience in fast-paced environments, making quick, strategic decisions under competing constraints
• You have a proven ability to successfully deliver complex web applications and services
• You are adaptable and able to work across various technical systems and concerns
