Oracle is on a journey to advance healthcare with technologies that support clinicians and empower patients. The Healthcare IT Project Manager will oversee critical support processes within the healthcare IT environment, ensuring efficient incident management and alignment with project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee critical support items on the VA project, managing issues that cannot be resolved through traditional support means
- Drive the project management lifecycle for issue resolution, ensuring each incident is handled efficiently and effectively
- Manage deliverables throughout the support project, including milestones and project schedules
- Provide feedback to the team, customers, and corporate stakeholders when project milestones or schedules are at risk
- Ensure projects align with the goals and timelines outlined in the scope of work and schedule
- Communicate status updates to customer stakeholders and internal management
- Ensure consistency and best practices are utilized while adhering to customer standards
- Utilize knowledge of the Cerner Millennium platform or other EHR systems to execute basic troubleshooting and support
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in Cerner Millennium or equivalent EHR systems
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in healthcare IT environments
- Ability to develop and refine processes for incident management and service improvement
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve project challenges
- BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
- 0-2 years of previous project management or related experience desired
