They are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects, develop creative solutions, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with a team to manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects and project teams to support the planning, design, and construction of drinking water treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects
- Develop creative solutions to complex water/wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions
- Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months of hire date
- Experience managing and / or supporting multi-discipline infrastructure projects
- Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial drinking water or wastewater treatment projects
- Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Solid knowledge of water treatment systems, equipment, and regulations
- Eight (8) years of experience designing and/or managing drinking water or wastewater treatment projects
- Knowledge of regional water/wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base
- Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to scope and budget new water/wastewater treatment facility projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
