Job Description 

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Welding Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education.  The primary responsibility will be to teach Welding courses.  Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.   

 

Requirements 

• Completion of a formal welding training program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma

• Certifications
  • Certified Welder required
  • Certified Welding Educator is not required, but highly desired

• At least three years of experience as a Certified Welder 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven 

• Prior teaching experience preferred
