Mechanical Assembly Technician

Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate a variety of assembly tools
• Sealing parts
• Drills, reams, and countersinks holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens subassemblies into structural assembly, using hand tools and Pneumatic tools.
• Installing hardware
• Track inventory to ensure proper number of parts for assembly
• Read blueprints and specs
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• Aerospace machine parts assembly experience - specifically large piece count builds, mid-size subassemblies
• Experience working with electrical bond and close tolerance features such as reaming
• Ability to read and understand complex work instructions, blueprints, and specs
• Experience with all types of assembly tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Teamwork and the ability to work with diverse people and groups is required
• 3-5 years minimum experience in mechanical assembly
