Overview:
V2X GTS has a requirement for a Database Administrator in support of the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) in Fort Leavenworth, KS. The Database Administrator ensures database system availability and support during the planning, development, and execution phases of Constructive simulation training activities and scenarios under the MCTSP and reports directly to the V2X-GTS Site Lead. The successful candidate must be a United States citizen, with proof of citizenship and a Secret clearance. Standard work week is five (5) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day.

Working Environment:
• Applicant may be required to travel and will be required to work in compliance with OSHA and V2X Safety policies and procedures.
• Must have a SECRET Clearance.
Physical Activities:
• Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under training/simulation devices.
• Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the surrounding environment.
• Walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to 8-hours/day & sit for up to 3 hours/day; climb/descend stairs; grasp or handle objects; use finger dexterity; bend elbows/knees; reach above/below shoulders; read/interpret typewritten print; communicate by voice & detect sound by ear.
Education / Certifications:
One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• At least 3 to 5 years demonstrated database administrative experience, with Technical Training, Certification, or a related Degree.
• IA Level II certification.
Experience:
• Fundamentally computer literate to include (but not limited to) using a personal computer, perform word processing, perform database input, access electronic publications, access the world wide web, brief and debrief software, and fill out electronic forms and grade sheets.
• Ability to support periodic travel.
Skills & Technology Used:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• TADSS, Computer & IT Fault and Troubleshooting Skills.
