JOB SUMMARY
Plans, coordinates, directs, and participates in work of smaller research project or major unit of large research project in field of specialization for which incumbent is particularly qualified in terms of extensive training and/or experience.
Dr. Karanjit Kooner is seeking a Research Scientist to support research projects involving ocular imaging and data analysis. This hybrid position allows two remote workdays per week. The role is strictly non-patient facing and involves no direct participant contact. Duties include collecting and analyzing imaging data from the Intalight and Laser Speckle Flowgraphy devices under the department's Clinical Research Unit (CRU) supervision, managing data transfers, performing data analysis, and preparing research documentation. All animal studies will be conducted in the Animal Resource Center (ARC). Occasional after-hours meetings may be required to support research collaborations or project deadlines.
