Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach HVAC/R in our HVAC program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning courses.  Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. 

 

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
• EPA Universal Certification required
• HVAC License required
• NATE Certification is not required but desired
• HVAC Journeyman not required but desired
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience is highly desired but not required
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
